Raided my mothers wardrobe today during a clear out and i walked out looking like this! The denim jacket im rocking is a B-52 denim jacket from 15 years ago! :) God Bless my mother for keeping her old clothes lol

Hair
I l.o.v.e the afro hair on, Erykah Badu…. In my opinion she should be put up there (where ever that is lol) with the great “fashion icons” as one of a few great black women style icons!
Even if it is a wig shes still saying to the black women out there that our natural hair is fine the way it is!
The current media has made black women feel the need to have these straight perms and weave tresses which at the end of the day our hair can NOT handle (Look at recent pictures of Naomi Campbell who is visibly suffering from “traction alopecia” im for the natural look even if i have to wear a wig lol ;)
LOVE IT!
